At LA Pride 2019 this year the festival focused on slogans such as JUST UNITE and ONE CITY, ONE PRIDE. These messages promote togetherness, oneness, and a general sense of  unity. Th event was very affordably priced and email announcements even during the festival times were very helpful, such as knowing once the event totally sold out!

There were many restaurants within walking distance of the festival, even vegan friendly, delicious options. There were juice shops selling CBD boosts to add to the juices. Traffic was an absolute nightmare as usual. And parking was hiked up as well as multiple streets closed. 

It was all worth it, having space to people watch, dance, party, and view various activities around the general WeHo gayborhood. 

The performers truly entertained us! And they were totally down for the cause, using their messages and stage presence to promote positive messages to the LGBTQ+ community and Allies. We got so see some of CupcakKe's set, as well rocking out to some of Pabllo Vittar's excellent covers as well as others. 

The block party was amaxing, featuring multiple bars and clubs with quite long lines compared to the usual. Also areas where people were dancin and some smaller stages to watch the gogos and just feel the music.

Dresses are often considered traditionally feminine. Have you ever seen the movie Bruno (not the one with Sacha Baron Cohen ^__^). This movie Bruno follows a young boy in elementary school who likes to wear dresses. And in one speech he talks about how  different types of males in history have traditionally worn clothing similar to a dress type of garb (Muslim male long shirt type attire, the Pope). In some cultures males even wear some garb similar to a skirt wrap like some shapherds in some tribes. When did dresses become primarily feminine attire for womn in Western culture? It was not always this way.
